Moranbah Easter Egg Hunt Event
Moranbah, Queensland – (March 27, 2015)
An abundance of Moranbah children, baskets in toe, went on an Easter Egg Hunt through Town Square on March 27. Moranbah families and locals were invited to participate in crafts, activities and a scavenger hunt, taking participants through various local businesses and market stands organised by community clubs and committees.
Hosted by Moranbah and District Support Services (MDSS), the BMA Settlement Program and Regional Messenger Magazine, the event encouraged residents to show their support for local businesses and clubs.
Dr. Hany Aziz, Dental Care Xtra, participated in the Moranbah Easter Egg Hunt. “It was so nice to see so many people in Town Square meeting the local business owners and getting to know their town and what we can offer the community.”
BMA Settlement Program Officer Kimberly Lehto-Head said, “This was a great opportunity for local clubs and businesses to provide the children of Moranbah with a fun filled event while discovering the Moranbah Town Square.”
The organising committee would like to acknowledge and thank their major sponsors BHP Billiton Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) and the Isaac Regional Council for their generous contributions.
