About Us

Moranbah and District Support Services (MDSS) is a small not for profit organisation that is funded through the Department of Communities, Domestic Violence Resource Services and the Child Safety and Disability Services which serve the communities of Moranbah, Dysart, Clermont, Coppabella, Middlemount, Nebo and Glenden. MDSS services are provided by a professional staff and volunteers. The professional staff consists of a Neighbourhood Centre Program Worker, a Domestic Violence Support Counsellor and Rural Family Support Workers, which are overseen and supported by a Voluntary Management Committee. We strive to support and assist all individuals, families, groups and organisations who seek assistance through the rural family support service or community support service..
