Moving to a new town is an exciting experience for individuals and families, as there are new places to locate, new faces to learn and a new community to discover..

Moranbah and District Support Services (MDSS) recognised the need for providing one-on-one contact and support to new residents of Moranbah through the establishment of a Settlement Program. The Settlement Program provides support to all new individuals and families that come to the Moranbah community. The Neighbourhood Centre Officer can assist you by providing all the necessary information, support and resources you need to settle into the community, while becoming a familiar person with whom you can meet and ask questions, so your transition is smooth.
